  • If you are thinking of purchasing a property, it is recomended that you have the the gas appliances checked for safety and maybe an inspection of the central heating system.

 

  • It can, and probably will, cost thousands to replace a boiler or central heating system.

 

  • More importantly you will not know the service history of the appliances or whether they could be faulty or dangerous.

 

  • You and/or your solicitor will recieve the relevant certificate stating the condition of each appliance and the gas service pipe (tests for leaks and visual inspection on accesible areas)  in your new home, including notes on any remedial work that may be required.
